Widex' environmentally-friendly headquarters
The headquarters is truly a unique building being innovative, energy efficient, wind powered, reflecting the Danish tradition of environmental awareness making Widex the only CO2 neutral hearing aid producer in the world.
A 100 meter tall wind mill on site not only covers Widex' own energy consumption but also delivers surplus energy back to the power grid.
The windmill reduces CO2 emissions by 2,000 tonnes a year. The windmill also means that Widex is a WindMade™ certified company - the first global consumer label for companies that use wind energy. The UN and other major organizations highlighted Widex' substantial commitment to clean energy.
